<p>With Micro HDMI cables the length matters. Check with a short  length 3 feet or so to make sure it’s not a cable length issue.</p>

<p>The cable i use i have tested it and it transmits proper HDMI stream from Canon camera to a regular monitor. Do i need to try other cable? The issue arises when trying to transmit HDMI stream from Canon camera to U&hellip;</p>

<p>I own a Blackmagic UltraStudio Express device that connects to Windows 8.1 (Boot Camp) on Macbook Pro 2015 via Thunderbolt 2 port.</p>

<p>I was sticking to 1394 because my Canon camera has it as output, and i had no thoughts of getting an external capture controller, but connected camera directly to macbook via thunderbolt 2 instead.</p>
<p>What&#8217;s most important vMix detected my camera canon on the fly and I&#8217;ve been streaming this way for years, until i&hellip;</p>
