<p>Recorded a musical production featuring two parts with each approximately 75 minutes long.</p>
<p>As usual, files were about 2gb in size &#8211; with the camera creating a new file every 11 minutes.</p>
<p>No break in video frames, but there was no audio for the final second of each file.</p>
<p>No idea why, or if the audio is recoverable.</p>

So the only replacement I could afford was Mac Mini. Can&#8217;t afford FCPX so I&#8217;m forced to use iMovie.</p>

<p>First, a correction:  the large raw clip was the 16-minute file, not the full, 40 minute file.</p>
<p>Still, iMovie wouldn&#8217;t allow the entire 40 minutes of raw to be imported (yes, plenty of room on the external drive).</p>
<p>Since I only needed a few clips from the entire raw, I just found each in- and out-time &amp; imported them&hellip;</p>

<p>First attempt to import 40 minutes of raw video yielded 7 clips &#8211; one 16 minutes long, six others only a few seconds each.</p>
<p>Second attempt yielded entire 40 minutes of raw as one file into the library package only, not the media bin. Went into package, copied raw file, pasted onto first section of the&hellip;</p>

<p>I restarted everything several times; no luck.</p>
<p>But when I merely exported as self-contained, it worked the first time.</p>
<p>Frankly, I&#8217;m just thrilled everything else worked up to that point.</p>

<p>No issues editing. Scratch disks all set to relatively-new Western Digital external USB drive.</p>
<p>Finally ready to export (highest quality settings) at anamorphic for 11-minute project.</p>
<p>Getting &#8220;out of disk space&#8221; error, even though there are over 300gb of space remaining on drive.</p>
