<p>Thank you for your thoughts  </p>
<p>I did import to CC from CS6. The project was automatically changed to meet CC. However, despite being able to edit and produce a viewable project , rendered through media encoder and watched as required, and saving the project twice; <span>recovering the project to view later I get the wretched error message. I have double&hellip;</span></p>

I open cc2019 and the project is converted. I edit project and save twice, one on pc and another on external disk.</p>
<p>I open project in CC2019 and I get error message &#8216;project appears to be damaged and cannot be recovered and also the same on external disk.</p>
<p>A workaround is to open new project, open&hellip;</p>
