When importing media, (add to an existing event) I select a file and FCP bounces from “leave files in place” to “copy to library”. Why? How do I prevent this? TIA.

What does this mean and how do I fix it? This item cannot be shared while it is still referencing media on the camera.

Trying to share a completed project. Import set to “leave files in place”. How do I ID the culprit file and remedy?

Finished a project, attempted to “share”. Got this message: “This item cannot be shared while it is still referencing media on the camera.” opened BG window. 23% on importing. cancelled the import.
