Hi,

Does anyone know if there is a way to automatically rename items in the Render Cue from a spreadsheet using an expression or a script?

The idea is to have a CSV file inside the (footage) folder and “magically” all Comps in the render Cue would have the name based on the first column of the spreadsheet.

I am familiar with CompFromSpreadSheets, but in my case since I need to share the project with users that wont be able to purchase this script and also consider I just need to rename the main Comps based on a spreadsheet. My understanding is that there is no way to do that within After Effects, since this operation has to be done…
