<p>I have a text layer in After Effects. I&#8217;m trying to have each letter randomly appear, drop down, wobble, then come to rest. Basically, as each character drops down, reacts to physics a little bit by wobbling, then rest. </p>
<p>I can perform the random appearance (opacity), and the drop (position), but the wobble to stop part (spring action on&hellip;</p>

<p><span>I have a text box with two of lines of text, let&#8217;s call it A. </span></p>
<p>I want to assign the sourceText of line 1 in (A) to a text layer (B), and assign the sourceText of line 2 to another text layer (C). </p>
<p>How do I grab the content before the &#8220;r&#8221; and send it to text layer (B), and the content after the &#8220;r&#8221; and send it to text layer (C)?</p>

<p>I have slider control attached to a null object aimed to convert collected values based on the content of two text fields. I&#8217;m using the &amp;&amp; symbol to bring both sides of my statement together.</p>
<p>In plain English: </p>
<p>if text1 and text2 don&#8217;t say &#8220;the magic word&#8221; : slider value = 0</p>
<p>if text1 says &#8220;the magic word,&#8221; but text2 doesn&#8217;t: slider value = 1</p>
