<p>As the president of the non profit association tht I run, I&#8217;m aslo the director, producer, cameraman and video editor + (vfx).</p>
<p>You&#8217;re right, the best would be to record all the video at the same framerates with the highest resolution, but I actually can&#8217;t afford a Red Camera or Black Magic 6/12K.</p>

<p>For the moment I&#8217;m using 3 x Sony a 6300&hellip;</p>

<p>Actually I&#8217;m compositing a movie, my videos files have different frame rates.</p>
<p>59,94, 50 and 25 and are in 2 format, somes are in .mov and some are in .mp4.</p>
<p>My questions are :</p>
<p>Should I convert them all to the lower resolution that I have ? 25 fps ?</p>
<p>What would be the best output settings ?</p>
<p>.mov Prores 422HQ ?</p>
<p>I&#8217;ve also read that cinema uses DCP&hellip;</p>

<p>Thanks for your reply.</p>
<p>I will make a folder on my master drive M.2 for the cache.</p>
<p>But when I import files (large video) from another HD does it not slow up the whole process ? (preview and render) ?</p>
<p>If my cache and files that I use on my composition are on (C:) Will this have performance benefit  ?</p>
