No idea but considering how finicky the current iOS seems about importing video, I’d be skeptical that it’d work. H.264 is really the way to go. Even H.265 introduces weird ghosting issues!

Hey, all. I guess this is a known issue but the Internet has several solutions, all of which seem imperfect. Basically Premiere is exporting footage from my iPhone 12 as incredibly blown out and unusable despite the raw footage looking totally normal. Also, the exports take comically long, like hours.

Does anyone have a solution for this? Thank you!

For the curious, this seems to be a fairly resource intensive effect (why, I have no idea). I solved my issue by transcoding the source media (Blackmagic Raw) into ProRes 422 HQ. The effect rendered fine after that but it’s really just a workaround.

Hey, smart folks. I’m having Premiere Pro crash when attempting to render a very simple Posterize Time effect. Happens in Media Encoder as well. When I try to render a preview, I get the attached error.

Thanks for the tips, folks. Resaving is a bit of a pain but I’ll keep an eye on the color space and resolution. There also seems to be an ICC warning sometimes when I open it in Photoshop. Haven’t had the issue for a few days so we’ll see if it’s more isolated than I feared. Thanks again.

Hey folks. For a while now, I’ve had issues with JPGs importing as black screens for some reason in both AE and Premiere. Seems to happen inconsistently but frequently. Is there a way to fix this? It’s maddening. Thank you!
