<p>I have figured it out.</p>
<p>Firstly, I converted the helix into a null and made that the parent of the helix.</p>
<p>I then did the same for Bolt A and B, but made these the child of the objects.  </p>
<p>I opened Xpresso, added the bolts and the helix and did the following in the screenshot. Once this was done, I applied a constraint tag to the Helix Null&hellip;</p>

<p>I&#8217;ve been having a play in C4D, creating the Pixar lamp. The design has springs and I&#8217;m wanting to know how to connect the spring to two objects that work with an IK rig.</p>
