<p>Goal is to have hundreds of identical comps in a timeline with one image in each, laid out in 3D space.  <span>Camera will then fly over the comps. Problem is how to quickly replace “placeholder” images in the comps with new images.</span></p>

<p>So there&#8217;s actually some method to my madness; what we have are live webcasts that need transcription post live for legal review.  Legal prefers &#8216;cleaned up&#8217; transcripts, so a bit of $ is spent on this.  Legal may or may not have any edits, and sometimes it&#8217;s as simple as 1 sentence.  Sometimes it&#8217;s a chainsaw.  😉  But&hellip;</p>

So if I read you correctly, the fundamental answer to my OP is &#8216;no&#8217; &#8211; captions don&#8217;t ripple delete along with the rest of the timeline.   But your tool allows &#8217;round tripping&#8217; to/from SRT and PPro titles.  So a workaround almost as good as native, and if things go well, a few more sales for you.  🙂</p>

Goal is to keep captions synced when editing an already-captioned video.  </p>
<p>I&#8217;ve got a project that&#8217;ll be edited on both PP &amp; X, and this workflow needs to work on both.  I&#8217;ve tested on X, it&#8217;s easy&hellip;</p>
