Goal is to have hundreds of identical comps in a timeline with one image in each, laid out in 3D space. Camera will then fly over the comps. Problem is how to quickly replace “placeholder” images in the comps with new images.

Interesting, Andreas. So if I read you correctly, the fundamental answer to my OP is ‘no’ – captions don’t ripple delete along with the rest of the timeline. But your tool allows ’round tripping’ to/from SRT and PPro titles. So a workaround almost as good as native, and if things go well, a few more sales for you. 🙂

Right, Like I said, I’m a FCPX editor, so I’m familiar with it’s methods. Looking for the PPro capabilities re: caption ripple edits.

Not a PPRo editor, FCPX myself, and though I’ve searched I can’t find the answer to whether it’s possible to ripple delete captions along with video. Goal is to keep captions synced when editing an already-captioned video.
