<p>   I came across this beautiful embroidery simulation made in Houdini.  And I was wondering, could this be done in a similar way using Cinema?  So far my approach has been a formula spline for the zig zag line, and a hair material, but I can&#8217;t seem to get the embroidered thread look with correct light and generated geometry that can cast a&hellip;</p>

The idea is to pass a few object lights over the surface to accentuate the modeling. The object light is a parametric plane with an illumination material.
