Thanks for your responses, I have started from scratch and the twitching has gone but there is still some white frames flashing annoyingly.

Thanks Eric. I have played around with all the random settings with no success. I will probably have to start from scratch and try get my movement shape a different way, which is a shame as this is the perfect formation. The problem seems to go away when I use the textured sprite from scratch.

The particular layer also –

– no aux system

– Physics – Fluid – vortex tube

– Emitter type – Tube ring OBJ

I have created a flowing ring of leaves by tweaking a preset in Trapcode Particular. It is using a custom textured sprite. The linked Pre-comp for the sprite texture holds a seamlessly looping .MOV.
