Resolve offers some features that FCPX lacks. FCPXʻs magnetic timeline and assigning audio roles seem counterintuitive to me. </p>

My concern was creating multi cams in FCPX and then bringing the project into Resolve, or bring in the footage already ingested into FCPX and then create the multi cams in Resolve. I can work faster in FCPX but may be creating time consuming problems down the line. Project is&hellip;</p>

He tells me he&#8217;ll have to manually adjust and do a 12 frame ripple to keep synch for one hour timeline because dialog has been changed to 85% speed in several places.  This seems odd to me, to say the least&#8230; Anyone else experienced this issue?</p>

Suddenly Share Master File (which I&#8217;ve been using all along doesn&#8217;t work) and when I try to output via Compressor 4.5.4 I&#8217;m getting fails and error messages like RenderFrameAt returned: 4 for absolute frame 88928. <p>I&#8217;ll follow the steps you mention (and in the very clear video tutorial) to back up my Libraries until I&#8217;m sure the update is working for me.  </p>

<p>FCPX is warning me it has to update my Librairies and then I won&#8217;t be able to use them with earlier versions.</p>
