Alexandra Boylan started the discussion Animating bird wings in the forum Adobe After Effects

Animating bird wings

Hi, I’m trying to animate this 2D bird wing so that it look like it’s flying. I can’t use the puppet tool as it distorts the wing shape too much, so am currently morphing (not sure its the correct term..) the paths from one layer to the next (that i created in illustrator). Does anyone have a faster/more effective way of doing this..?

Many thanks, Alex
