FCP does seem to be a power hog. Also, your MBPro I assume has a good graphic card in it, but even it it does, it&#8217;s going to have problems with 4k. I shoot with GH5s in 4k and it&#8217;s a lot more CPU&hellip;</p>

Best way?</a></p> <div class="bb-content-inr-wrap"><p>I have just finished a short edit for a European client, and they have just mentioned they want the final cut in 25 fps rather than 23.976. What is the best way to change this? Can I just export out to Compressor in 25 and expect it to work fine for them at their end? Final cut will go both in a live event showing on a laptop &amp; also they will post&hellip;</p>

I&#8217;ll give it atry. currently not using Premier enough to make it worth paying adobe 50 bucks a month forever. would like to just purchase one product and maybe pay an upgrade once in a while.  I must say that I&#8217;ve had for fewer problems using Premier than I did with Vegas, but we&#8217;re talking about the last time I used Vegas was at least&hellip;</p>

Is Vegas more stable than in years past?</a></p> <div class="bb-content-inr-wrap"><p>Q. Looking at recommending Vegas for a friend who is doing 4K work with one camera. Is it more stable these days? </p>
<p>I used Vegas for a couple of years in the late 00s and early 10s. It was very unstable. Has the product improved recently? He&#8217;s running W10 on brand new Intel i7 processors with 16 GBs RAM (upgrading soon to 32).  Thoughts? </p>

My experience with crashes on adobe seems to be very much related to a lack of enough RAM. Even 16 gigs can be overrun if you have a couple of cameras that you’re working in in 4K. That way, if I die tomorrow, they don&#8217;t need to go to my&hellip;</p>
