As to getting them to look like they’re emitting from the
asteroid/comet/meteor, just a spherical emitter will probably do the
trick, but you can also load 3d objects into Particular as an emitter
source.

can you share a simple project element 3d astroid explaining the above i am eager to learn and see please micheal?

i tried applying particular trapcode but then element 3d hides below.

anyways i added trapcode P to a solid selected the 3d null of element 3d it follows but the particles are just in 1 strait line rather then emitting from particles from element 3d astroids
