<p>Appreciate the follow-up, and would be interested if you discover a work around. I do have a whole LACIE Raid just sitting in a box that could be used for something! </p>
<p>Yeah the tech support ended up telling me to take it into a Best Buy &#8220;Geek Squad&#8221; to fix it, and I thought that doesn&#8217;t seem right&#8230; </p>

<p>Unfortunately, no. </p>
<p>The good news is the material on the drives are ok. I was lucky because my work has 2 LACIE Big 6 Raids that I was able to swap drives in, and it mounted. I had the run around trying to find support from LACIE but I mostly ran into bot customer service. I think they are now owned by Seagate, so it&#8217;s a headache to get&hellip;</p>

<p>Here&#8217;s the situation. </p>
<p>I have been working off this Lacie Raid for a number of years without any incident. The drives all work and the last time I checked the Lacie Raid Manager they all were in perfectly working shape. </p>

<p>Looks like it&#8217;ll be an edit, so I will charge accordingly. I didn&#8217;t know if he wanted to get all the assets from me and if technically he had a right to do that. Nothing was discussed about that. I&#8217;m just a pack rat and save everything. </p>

<p>I had a client reach out asking for a project we finished 4 years ago. I have the whole project backed up and just pulled it onto my work drive. However, should I just hand over the project ? Or prepare to charge him for editing services or just a fee to give him access to the files. </p>
