Does anyone have experience with older Macs running Premiere? I have a 2013 15-inch 2.6 Ghz i7 with 16 gigs of memory. Will that handle full HD video? How responsive will it be?

So I’m getting two frames of this type of distortion on the first two frames of a clip on only some clips. When I delete render files and re-render the footage, it goes away, so I assume it’s some sort of render glitch. But does anyone know what it’s actually doing, and why it’s returning the same exact distortion pattern in both unrelated clips?
