I have a synology server connected to mac pro 6.1 via sanlink2 thunderolt to 10Gb adapter. The problem is that the computer connects by default to the server via 1Gb network. To solve this I have to disconnect the 1Gb ethernet cable and wait about a minute for the 10Gb connection.
