Hello Hector Vera,

After contacting Sony prime support, I got a telephone call this morning from them.

I explained as best I could that the hours meter had a mind of its own and decided to add on an extra hour or two 🙂

He was a really nice man and like you, he never heard of this odd curiosity before.

Hi Hector Vera, thank you for the reply, that is a great help. I will see where the CMOS battery is on the camera and try and remove it.

Hi, I noticed that the total operating hours on my Z280 are increasing , even when the camera is not being used and there is no battery attached.

I don’t think this should happen.

Any way to stop this?
