Resolved it. The metadata setting was turned off in the export setting.

Clip exports bypassing original source timecode and defaulting to 00:00

Hi there. When I export a short selection of my video straight out of the source window, the new clip starts at 00:00:00:00 completely ignoring the original source timecode. I even have a timecode generator on the clip which shows the correct timecode. Any ideas on how to resolve this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Sequence timecode not conforming to clip source timecode upon creation

Hi there. For some reason, when I create a new sequence by dragging a clip onto the icon in the project panel, that sequence defaults to 00:00:00:00 instead of matching the clips source timecode like it always did. I’ve tried clicking the “Set by first clip” box but it only changes for the individual sequence, not globally. Is this a bug? Is there…

Thanks for the quick response, guys.
The clip is 1280×720, Prores Proxy, 23.98.
The EDL has the correct filename and there is nothing off with the timecode from what I can see. I’m going to try transcoding out of Media Encoder and see what happens that way. If you have any other suggestions, it would be greatly appreciated.
