After importing and relinking the multicam source clips from an assist edit project, I realized after doing some tests with them (i.e. – placing markers on them, cutting them into a sequence, and closing them out of the source monitor), some of the multicam clips revert back into sequences.

I’ve just been handed an edit project where there are sequences organized into sync stacks, but not actually grouped into multicam clips. When I asked about this to the director (who seems like the sole one in the edit up until this point), he said that he had edited just using the sync stacks and nothing else.
