years later with fcpx 10.6.8 and still same problem. I click on the project, choose export xml and then i export both fcpx versions. Next, i send to colleague in a different city with exact fcpx version of mine & it won’t read the fcpxmla. WTH?!!

When you click the letter, “m,” twice, and fast you can put memory marks on clips with info. So, cool. Same for Premiere, Davinci, etc. However, in FCXP, unlike Prem, you can’t hover your mouse over a mark and it shows you the text content. I have my 2TB library and one project on my desktop. I want to copy the entire library/project to an external to make edits at work. When done I’d like to continue the new edits in the desktop library. Should I make library copies and XML’s or is there another option?

Right now TRT is 15 minutes. Aiming for 30 min. External USB3.1 drive is 14TB. Codec is Apple Pro Res which should have smaller file sizes than H.264.

I’m editing a project on a 14TB external drive with 12TB free. The storage modifications are all set to the same drive yet FCPX 10.6.8 won’t transcode due to not enough space error message. Any solutions to this? Odd.
