Thanks for the reply Peter! I used the Host method to get things fixed, as I couldn’t find the specifics of the Device method you suggest, but it’s great to know this now and have access to the user guide manual you sent as a link.

Hello all, I managed to save the footage by using USB Host. I knew the camera could output files to a USB stick, but you have to format the USB drive to exFAT and then stick it into the cameras USB slot…..Then, go to the main menu on the camera and find USB Host/Device and set it to USB Host, and while in the menu system, press the red record…

Saving Footage from damaged SD card Via USB?

Fortunately I can get the AG DVX-200 to read and display the clips I recorded in the camera thumbnails, but a card reader won’t recognize the card, I need to save these clips by somehow using the camera to output the clips to my iMac (modern, and up to date) …..Are there any AG-DVX-200 gurus there that can guide me?
