<p>and you rendered to preview….how would you know if your result was accurate?</p>
<p>but you can also choose NOT to use previews with doing final export as well…</p>
<p>so in that case you&#8217;d be fine…</p>

<p>Premiere is pretty codec agnostic thanks to it&#8217;s underlying mercury technology.</p>
<p>When you drop Files on to a timeline….(1st edit)…</p>
<p>it will inherit the proportions, pixel aspect and frame rate of the .mov&#8217;s</p>
<p>but not necessarily the codec…because…PPro doesn&#8217;t really care.</p>
