The look I’m going for is what you mentioned above: “grainy shadow that remains still when the object turns.”</p>
<p>Sounds like using a bump isn’t the way to go but to achieve it using the lighting. </p>

<p>Does anyone know how to apply a noise shader where the noise <i>does not move?</i></p>
<p>I&#8217;d like to avoid the &#8216;fizzing&#8217; effect. Please see attached video for what I mean. I&#8217;ve also included my shader settings.</p>
<p>Any help would be greatly appreciated!</p>
