<p>When I exported that 16GB file it played-back unacceptably poorly—  it hesitated badly.</p>
<p>I imported that that 16GB into the Compressor app and exported from there using the preset shown in the attached screenshot. Compressor spit-out a 1.47GB file that looks good and plays-back smoothly.</p>

<p>Great feedback. 16GB seemed large for a project containing no video, but I suppose 200+ photos of that size do add-up.</p>
<p><span>I&#8217;ll do as you suggest, Mads—  export and downsample.</span></p>

<p>&#8211; I have completed a photo slideshow containing over 200 photos—  no video.</p>
<p>&#8211; The photos are 6000&#215;4000 / 72dpi / 3:1 aspect ratio.</p>
<p>&#8211; I modified the FCP Project Properties resolution to become 6000&#215;4000 to match the photos&#8230;  so they&#8217;d fill the entire canvas.</p>
<p>&#8211; Each of the photos has the Ken Burns effect applied to it.</p>
