I did pretty much the same thing.

After capturing the home videos I edited in FCP, then exported all the m4v files. Then I imported them all into my Plex server and organized them into categories, adding descriptive metadata for each file.

Positioning titles suddenly sluggish?

Normally, I add a title or some text and I can drag it around the screen fluidly. Sometimes, for no apparent reason, the titles move choppily. They are lagged while dragging them into different positions.

I’m not doing anything fancy– no weird fonts, no complicated drop shadows… nothing I can think of that’s obvious.

Restarting doesn’t help…
