<p>Thank you for this. As I mentioned to Ann. I had never heard of this before until this post. I think some time long ago I had experienced a similar situation on a Canon XL1s, however that had no bearing on this issue here, and we are miles ahead in technology and upgrades than what that was.  I am going to forward your advice to our&hellip;</p>

<p>Thank you for your feedback. I have used Premiere Pro and MXF files for years for the majority of my editing. I have seen this happen once before a long time ago, and inquired via the Creative Cow on correcting it then. The feedback given at that time was to unlink the footage or to disable the footage and then reconnect it, or re-enable&hellip;</p>

I have some students that discovered losing images after importing video footage shot with a Canon XF105. The footage was transferred to an SSD drive and then into Premiere Pro.
