Hi Mads, thanks for your reply. Yes I think you are right. AVID has a system ID which identifies the computer. I think it’s that rather than the IP address. No doubt AVID could advise what to do about that, so I will continue trying to contact them.

I have now sorted the problem by accessing the audio effect via the Audio Suite and not by the effect palette.
