NO, but still....</a></p> <div class="bb-content-inr-wrap"><p>Thanks Tim! I&#8217;m in Bear Valley Springs, which is near Tehachapi. BTW the Rocky Mountain Elk that roam through here are not native to this area.  In the 1960s someone got permission to import 200 elk from Yellowstone to a ranch near here for a &#8220;game farm.&#8221; All the elk escaped and thrived.  They can&#8217;t be hunted in Bear Valley Springs, which covers&hellip;</p>

NO, but still....</a></p> <div class="bb-content-inr-wrap"><p>The camera aspect nudges the needle for me. I’ve been filming the elk that roam through my mountain community, and the rig I’m using is heavy.  I have to count on getting lucky when they’re lounging around, giving me time to set up. But those darned elk don’t pose for me, even when I ask politely, so there have been many times when I missed&hellip;</p>
