<p>Which do you prefer using: alpha or luminance mattes?</p>
<p>They both do the same job but, for example, if a make a rough roto mask in a program like runwayml and export it for refining in After Effects, which one is better?</p>
<p>If I export an alpha matte I can use Refine Hard/Soft Matte and Matte Choker without precomposing, but they are bigger&hellip;</p>

First of all, I&#8217;m new to Cinema 4D so forgive me if I ask a stupid question.</p>
<p>I have a model with PBR textures (Roughness, Metalness, Emission, etc) and I followed <a target='_blank' href="https://blog.textures.com/how-to/2018/12/14/how-to-use-texturescom-materials-in-c4d" rel="nofollow noreferrer" rel="nofollow">this</a> tutorial on how to link them to the model.</p>
<p>However, the textures are not appearing, neither in viewport, nor in render view. What am I missing?</p>
