Everything I record with the z280 is grainy 4k. My wife&#8217;s 1080p Canon Vixia looks cleaner and sharper. I&#8217;ve fixed the back focus, I record with 0dB gain around f2.8 with proper exposure/lighting. The footage is disappointing. I don&#8217;t know how the sample footage online is being shot and processed but I&#8217;m not&hellip;</p>

Recording XAVC-L, 4K in sunlight with -3dB gain and still grainy and soft. It looks good in the viewfinder and then grainy and soft on the card. I&#8217;ve looked at it through Sony&#8217;s Catalyst Browser and Adobe Premiere. I&#8217;m consistently disappointed, particularly when compared to my much less expensive Sony A7sii.</p>
