<p>I am editing a film that was shot on the Blackmagic (6K) and the footage will be given to me as an XML file  and proxies. I was asked to provide a timeline codec and sequence settings. What would be the best settings that prevent least loss of aspect ratio. Also what should they keep in mind while making proxies. I have to give them an XML file&hellip;</p>

At this point I can invest in a Raid 5 at max since I also need to upgrade my MacBook Pro to get the new one with the thunderbolt 3. Am leaning towards the G-tech. I understand Raid 5 is a safer set up, do you think making do with the Raid 1 set up is ok if there are financial limitations ?<br />

Am going mad trying to figure if I should invest in a raid set up or simply buy two drives and back up. Some review complained about complexity of setting up the raid system.
