Hey Brian, Yes, you really should hire a post production mixer to take care of this for you. In that scenario, the mixer will deliver 5.1 tracks of audio which will have to be mapped properly on your timeline for export. Interesting, I don’t have a solution for you but wanted to chime in because I experience something similar when playing back from the timeline.

Seems to take a few seconds for the audio to sync up at the start of any playback action from anywhere on the timeline. Experienced this with 18 the other day.

On a clients older system (2010 Mac Pro Tower), We are trying to migrate from Premiere to Davinci where Client wants to resume editing.

It seems like it would be better to stay in Premiere until it’s time for the color grade. Will be trying to convince him of this today.
