I got it working flawlessly with a slider control for amplitude, for better animation control.</p>
<p>My mistake was trying to use the self-referencing linear wipe expression with some math and the wiggle expression instead of just REPLACING the expression with the wiggle&#8230;ockham&#8217;s blade at its finest.</p>

<p>I&#8217;m stuck with what I think is a newbie problem and I would appreciate any input on the issue.</p>
<p>The thing is that I have a keyframed animated linear wipe on several rectangles that works as a &#8220;curtain&#8221; that reveals the video underneath when they open from the center.
