Both programs are on the same account and have latest update., the files were created on the same computer. I did get a dialog box that said the Ae needed to be 2021 version (it is.)

The workaround workflow was not ideal, but I ended up copy and paste video clips into Ae and finished my edits that way.

Hello, Im new to using dynamic link with Adobe Ae and Pr. I have imported my Ae comp in to Premier but some of text and effects did not port. Have I missed a step during the import?
