Hello, I’m having trouble transcoding my 1920×1080 59.94fps footage to a H.264 proxy inside Avid Media Composer. That option is not available in the selection to transcode.

Please help me locate the H.264 proxy option.

Thanks for the reply, I added a transition effect between the two ama clips in timeline, it plays choppy on the effect. Why is this happening?

While working in the timeline with ama link footage, should you add effects from avid media composer, like transition between clips? Or you should apply effects etc after you transcode or consolidated?
