<p>Basically I just want to emulate what it looks like if you add a linear keyframe to the offset every time we hit a marker.  So I&#8217;d like to use either a linear or ease function to go to the next offset value each time we arrive at a marker.  No need to do&hellip;</p>

That fade would continue as we hit the next marker/word, with something like a 1.5 second delay.  </p>

When a certain end-point is triggered, I want that path to smoothly animate to its end-state.  And it&#8217;s different for each asset I&#8217;m doing, so I want to be able to just drag the marker to set that end-point.</p>

I think the problem with this is that I&#8217;m using ValueAtTime to animate between two paths, which is why I was trying to do it all with the frame number.  Looks like I can&#8217;t ease between two paths this way.</p>

It only works if there are no keyframes on the timeline after the marker point.  If there ARE keyframes, it kind of bounces back and forth between my easing expression and whatever those keyframes are doing.  So it&#8217;s super jumpy.  I wonder how to ignore those keyframes.</p>

<p>The expression works great&#8211;but it looks like it has sort of a hitch at around 4 seconds (video attached).  IF it helps, I&#8217;m working in 23.98.</p>

<p>Looking to write an expression that:</p>
<p>&#8211; moves a layer by a small amount every 15 frames.</p>
<p>&#8211; movement lasts 5 frames </p>
<p>&#8211; it shouldn&#8217;t jump around&#8211;just a single move from point a to point b</p>
<p>&#8211; the movement should be different each time.</p>

<p>I started by building an array of random numbers, with the goal of basically saying:</p>
