A bit of a tough situation: I’m recording a podcast with 1 host and 10+ guests.

This is a bit of a run’n’gun situation (so no studio, etc) whilst i’m giving a mic to the host what’s the best way to record the guest? I don’t think a boom mic can be maneuvered as quick as a conversation goes,…

I had a similar situation not too long ago and I opted for Three. They do have an unlimited bundle for £20pm I believe. The speed is alright although sometimes it can get really bad. In one occasion, it got really bad and I had to get a Vodafone backup sim for £50pm which saved me. They both pay as you go, so no big commitments. Hope it helps!
