Also still have a vcr, analog monitor and canopus.  I digitized one other tape and had no problems with that one.  The problem tape described in my original post, has this light shift in about a dozen different areas, totalling about 15 minutes of&hellip;</p>

This light shift only happens in 4 sections of the tape, 2 outdoor and 2 indoor scenes. I want to edit this tape in Davinci Resolve and these affected sections are ones that I want to use as they have a family member who is no longer&hellip;</p>

VCR connected to analog monitor for viewing.  ADVC110 Canopus connected to old macbook running OS 10.5.8 with 6 pin firewire cable and viewing the digital transfer on the mac.  I&#8217;m digitizing into Final Cut Express v4.0.1.   I can see both the analog and digital picture at the same time.  The transfer is&hellip;</p>
