									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p class = "activity-discussion-title-wrap"><a href="https://creativecow.net/forums/thread/captured-sound-on-location/">Captured sound on location</a></p> <div class="bb-content-inr-wrap"><p>When we use shotgun microphones, we always have them very close to the actors, otherwise, we use lav mics and hide them behind clothing.</p>
<p>However, when watching behind the scene shots of real movies, I  sometimes see  them with their shotgun microphones held too far away from the actors. </p>
<p>Do they really use on location recorded audio or is everything&hellip;</p>
