I’m using this expression to essentially up the value of a slider, as soon as a certain layer’s x Scale goes higher than 0.

I’m keen to see if there’s a more simple, and safer way of writing, or approaching this? In a perfect world I wouldn’t have to add an additional statement if I wanted to check more than 4…

Hi Yoan! It’s a value of 1 in this case mate.

Dan, I’ll try and explain a little better.

I have a tall strip of numbers pre-comped (think an odometer), and this precomp has 3 keyframes on its Y position. Say two keyframes to go from 0 – 100, then a third keyframe to dictate the pause before loopOut(“offset”) comes in and exponentially…

Is there a way to offset the time of some animation (using valueAtTime & framesToTime currently), and then loopOut from that new time?

I basically want the time of 2 keyframes to be offset (temporally) by a slider, and then loopOut(offset or continue) from there.

Hopefully it’s obvious, and I’m just dumb.

Thanks in advance.

That works, thank you!!

Is there a way to have the original keyframes have no affect, until the first ‘L_’ in point? Almost like that triggers the first increment of animation?

No worries if not, this works better than I imagined it would.

I’m wondering if there’s a way to incrementally repeat/offset a set of keyframe’s animation, similar to how loopOut(“offset”) works, but to only trigger at every marker? Or in an ideal world, though may be a stretch, to trigger at the inPoint of any layer with a defined prefix.

eg. ‘Shape Layer 1’ has two position keyframes moving it…
