<p>I have just added a transparent layer above my video tracks; I have dragged the &#8216;timecode&#8217; effect from the effects panel onto the transparent layer , and the timecode is displaying, as it should.  I don&#8217;t know whether this helps.</p>

<p>Just wondered if you have tried adding an adjustment layer above all clips, as effects like Lumetri  corrections would then be duplicated on all clips below the adjustment layer.</p>

It will certainly be up to the applications you have in mind.  Picture quality is superb, too, with the wide angle of the zoom being particularly useful.</p>
