The errors happen with both Digi-beta and Beta SP.

The deck has quite the minimal wiring these days… one single SDI cable running output to a computer.

Thanks for the tip, but when I try to fast forward I get an Error 02! This is with multiple tapes.

I have a Sony DVW-A510 that has been kept clean and used less and less. But after a few days of use digitizing old tapes, I started getting Error-03, which I know is related to tape slack. I only recently and finally moved from PP 2020 (v14.3) to PP 2021 (v15.4) in time to work with it before a new season for the show I edit begins. A prior project file was 9.4 MB and ballooned to 37.6 MB when saved and resaved over the course of a week. Another just went from the same 9.4 MB to 15.6 MB.
