I’m basically looking to emulate an old Panasonic video mixer (WJ-MX10, MX12, MX50, etc) in After Effects (paint effect, chromakey, superimpose)

I can get a pretty authentic looking paint effect in AE using “posterize” and the screen blending mode, but it’s sort of hit or miss depending on the footage.
