I am noticing, however, that I&#8217;ve lost some grain when importing the stabilized clips back to FCPX. I&#8217;m wondering if this is because I exported the original clips to an xml file from FCP, but rendered down the&hellip;</p>

<p>I downloaded Resolve and I am very pleased with their stabilizer. I am noticing, however, that I&#8217;ve lost some grain (shot on 16mm). I&#8217;m wondering if this is because I exported using an xml file from FCP, but rendered down to a .mov file from Resolve, before importing the stabilized clip (.mov) back to FCP. </p>

While the stabilization filter on FCPX normally does the job, I am still getting wobbles here and there. The film lab said the jittering is probably due to the film being wound a little too tightly on one of my film reels.
