cool yeah agree. I’m working off two 2TB Thunderbolt 3 drives om an iMac in office and then working from home 2 days per week on those same drives from a macbook pro with daily Dropbox backup.

Anyone know if an internal SSD partitioned as OS/programs (1 partition) and Disk Cache (2nd partition) is as fast and efficient as an Internal SSD for OS/programs and an external Thunderbolt 3 or 4 SSD? looking into it in regard to purchasing a macbook pro M1. Whether 1TB internal SSD or 2TB.

anyone’s thoughts on whether a second 21:9 monitor connected to a 2020 iMac via lightning cable should perform without inhibiting AE. iMac is an i9 10 core with 64GB ram and a 16GB video card. will eliminating it increase AE performance at all? Thanks.
