Hi all.

I’m having a strange problem with clips from a Nikon Z7 (H264 MOVs, not log)

The levels – most notably the blacks – are crushed when importing the clips to Prem (or AE or AME), viewing in Quicktime Player or VLC.

You can see this in the first screenshot.

I flagged this with the client who uses FCPX, and they didn’t have this issue.

So I tried…

All good now. Updating to Premiere 22.3.1 solves this.

Resolve strangely started seeing the files without my doing anything.

Catalyst Browse is still not showing images, although it is showing the file data. Anyway, no big loss there.

Hi all.

I’ve been given several drives of Sony Venice footage ranging from to 2K up to 8K.

If I bring the clips into Premiere, Resolve or Sony Catalyst Browse, they all appear as black / black.

Yet strangely, Adobe Media Encoder will process them.

The only way to view them is with Sony RAW Viewer.
