<p>I&#8217;m having a strange problem with clips from a Nikon Z7 (H264 MOVs, not log)</p>
<p>The levels &#8211; most notably the blacks &#8211; are crushed when importing the clips to Prem (or AE or AME), viewing in Quicktime Player or VLC.</p>
<p>You can see this in the first screenshot.</p>
<p>I flagged this with the client who uses FCPX, and they didn&#8217;t have this issue.</p>

Updating to Premiere 22.3.1 solves this. </p>
<p>Resolve strangely started seeing the files without my doing anything.</p>
<p>Catalyst Browse is still not showing images, although it is showing the file data. Anyway, no big loss there.</p>

<p>I&#8217;ve been given several drives of Sony Venice footage ranging from to 2K up to 8K.</p>
<p>If I bring the clips into Premiere, Resolve or Sony Catalyst Browse, they all appear as black / black.</p>
<p>Yet strangely, Adobe Media Encoder will process them.</p>
<p>The only way to view them is with Sony RAW Viewer.</p>
