    Hi,

Wonder if anyone can help. I’m exporting a foreground element from Nuke with an alpha channel but when I import it into FCP the alpha looks different. I’ve tried the usual Modify>Alpha Type but it isn’t helping (I can see it changing the alpha channel but none of the options make the alpha look like what Nuke thinks it looks like). Weirdly enough, when I import the fg element looks the same in AE and PS as it does in FCP- is it a Nuke issue or an everything else issue?

Bit of a time constraint on this one so, any help would be much appreciated!

    Cheers

    Abi

    Hi Abi,
I don’t know NUKE, but I guess you have the normal three options on exporting:
    – Strait.
    – Premultiplied Black.
    – Premultiplied White.
When going to FC is better exporting “Strait” Alpha.
